Excel Exteriors Ltd specialises in flat and pitched roofing, roofing refurbishment, repairs, insulation works, groundworks and associated general building works.
Are you accredited and third party certified?
Yes. Excel Exteriors Ltd operates to recognised UK standards and holds multiple third party accreditations.
We are PAS 2030 certified for retrofit insulation works including flat roof insulation, loft insulation, pitched roof insulation and room in roof insulation and operate in line with TrustMark requirements.We are CHAS accredited and SSIP deemed to satisfy for health and safety compliance and hold Constructionline Gold membership for public and private sector procurement.
Do you carry appropriate insurance?
Yes. Excel Exteriors Ltd carries comprehensive insurance cover appropriate to roofing, groundworks and property maintenance works.
This includes Employers Liability insurance of £10 million, Public and Products Liability insurance of £5 million, Professional Indemnity insurance of £2 million and Contractors All Risks insurance with contract works cover up to £600,000.

What types of roofing do you undertake?
We undertake both flat and pitched roofing including full roof replacements, refurbishments and responsive repairs.
For flat roofing we are approved installers for Langley, Bauder, Prokol, Proteus and Kemper systems.For pitched roofing we are approved installers for Sandtoft, Redland and Marley systems.
We are also council approved for mastic asphalt works.
What flat roofing systems do you install?
We install a range of flat roofing systems including bituminous and liquid applied systems, using manufacturer approved specifications where required.
What pitched roofing works do you carry out?
Our pitched roofing works include concrete and clay tiles, slates, ridges, hips, flashings and associated roofing components.
Do you carry out insulation works?
Yes. We install insulation to flat roofs, lofts, pitched roofs and room in roof constructions in accordance with PAS 2030 requirements where applicable.
Do you work on occupied properties?
Yes. We regularly work on occupied residential buildings and plan works carefully to minimise disruption while maintaining safety at all times.
Do you work for housing associations and local authorities?
Yes. We work with housing associations, local authorities, managing agents and main contractors across planned and reactive programmes.
Can you support large or multi site programmes?
Yes. We deliver works ranging from individual properties through to large multi site and framework contracts.
Do you provide method statements and risk assessments?
Yes. We provide site specific risk assessments and method statements prior to works commencing.
Are your operatives trained and competent?
Yes. Our operatives are appropriately trained, experienced and competent to carry out the works they undertake.
Labour hold some or all of the following as required by role: CSCS cards ranging from Green to Blue, NVQ Level 3, Working at Heights, Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling as an absolute minimum.
Do you provide quality assurance and inspections?
Yes. We operate robust quality assurance procedures including site inspections, supervision and photographic records.
Can you carry out remedial and repair works?
Yes. We undertake responsive repairs, planned maintenance and remedial works alongside full replacement projects.
Do you offer warranties or guarantees?
Yes. We can issue warranties ranging from 5, 10, 15, 20 and up to 25 years depending on the roofing system installed and manufacturer requirements.
Do you provide surveys and condition reports?
Yes. We undertake roof surveys and condition reports to support maintenance planning and investment decisions.
Can you work to programme and budget constraints?
Yes. We work closely with clients to deliver projects efficiently while maintaining quality, safety and compliance.
Do I need to register my roof works with Building Control?
Not always. Where applicable roofing works can be self certified under the NFRC Competent Persons Scheme.
As approved members of this scheme Excel Exteriors Ltd can self certify compliant roofing works and notify the local authority on your behalf which removes the need for a separate Building Control application.
We will always advise if Building Control involvement is required for your specific project.
Do you operate nationwide?
While based in London and the South East, we deliver projects across the UK where required.
